3 Ways To Come Up With Blog Topic Ideas

by Anton Amoto

Struggling With Blog Topic Ideas?

SEOZenProBlogging is immensely popular these days and an amazing way to share your thoughts and feelings with the world.
However, it can sometimes be difficult to come up with new ideas.

Here are a few tips to help those with writer’s block:

When working as a blogger it’s imperative to constantly update your article topics in order to maintain a healthy flow on the shared information.

But at certain times, especially if this implies posting on a daily basis, the inspirational paths of your imagination may reach the bottom, creating at the same time some kind of agony that keeps your mind blocked from generating an interesting idea to write about.

Since Google may have an increased usability on your key word generator, here are three alternate ways to get blog post ideas.

The unconventional way

Well, leaving all the cyber engines aside for a moment opens doors to other unconventional ways that may generate new content for your blog.

Get your inspiration from what’s surrounding you and always write down the ideas passing through your mind.

Don’t trust in your memory because once time is passing by, the idea will lose its intensity.

Take photos all time, especially in this era of smartphones when all phone camera pictures are at high quality.

The streets are good places for hidden gems like buildings, stores, museums, concerts and so on. Each minute a brilliant idea may pop up so it’s better to have the necessary tools to explore it.

Topsy – a cool trend for new ideas

Topsy is a great search engine for new blog post ideas. You only have to type the name of the topic you’re interested in and Topsy will come up with a list that you can customize on your own tastes.

There’s the possibility to search for ideas by browsing the latest links, tweets, photos, videos on certain social networks like Twitter, Facebook or Google+.

Bottlenose – fresh and complex

Similar to Topsy, but maybe a little bit more complex, is Bottlenose, also an online engine worth working with when having difficulties in finding a trendy idea.

Bottlenose works pretty much the same, either you type the idea or you can browse through the hashtags meant to arouse your creativity.

Hashtags are covering every subject from sports, humour or business to games, entertainment or music.

To go deeper into the subjects press on “Sonar” tab and you’ll be surprised by the charming brainstorming, perfect for sketching a new idea.

Interesting! I have asked myself a few times what I should write about. I will keep this in mind and I will def get some good use out of it the next time I have a brain fart and don’t know what to write about. Thanks!

I get almost all of my ideas by reading book. When I read a book I underline sentences and quotes that I like. When I am done the book my wife types all of these up into a Word Document for me. From there, I make each sentence a blog post. I reword the sentence to make a good title and then I write what I think about the topic. In an average book I read, I underline at least 50 sentences. I read at least one book a week and I literally have a backlog of thousands of articles to write for my blog. You can also watch YouTube videos and take notes. That works for me and I know it can work for you. Thanks for sharing Anton!
